In 1971, a young 32 year old mechanical engineer and economist founded a non government organisation whose purpose it was to assemble political and business leaders from around the world and let them all have a pow-wow about really important things. His name was Klaus Schwab, and this German man of a relatively young age came up with a rather interesting idea. He created The European Management Forum, now known as the World Economic Forum.
It was quite a feat when looked at on face value. His idea worked and is now on the annual agenda for the global elite who rock up each year and descend on the city of Davos in Switzerland like a plague of locusts; this swarm use gas guzzling private jets as their wings of preference.

How did Davos begin? How did it start?
Well, it all began with a man named Klaus Schwab.
How this relatively young man was able to pull off such a feat is probably not so much JUST what you know but who you know.
Who is this International Man of Mystery? This man who was born in Ravensburg Germany in 1938? This man who has risen to global prominence?
Schwab's father Eugen Schwab, was the Managing Director of the Escher-Wyss factory in Ravensburg from before the Second World War. Escher-Wyss was one of the largest employers in Ravensburg and manufactured parts for ships, aeroplanes, submarines and power plants, Escher-Wyss also brokered flame throwers This would have been handled by Eugen Schwab . They also supplied turbines, compressors and propellers for Nazi ships and submarines, as well as gas turbines for powering the war machine, in addition to their nuclear technology. They were not an insignificant company.
Escher-Wyss exploited slave labor (Jewish, Russian, Gypsy, homosexual, Hungarian, Romanian, Polish ), as well as Allied POWs. Klaus Schwab went on to work for Escher-Wyss who later amalgamated with Swiss company Sulzer. It was Klaus Schwab who assisted in making this merger a reality.
According to Welsh Investigative journalist Johnny Vedmore:
“Material technology activities are intensified [by Sulzer] and form the basis for medical technology products. The fundamental change from a machine-building company to a technology corporation starts to become apparent.”
Klaus Schwab was helping to turn Sulzer Escher-Wyss into something more than just a machine building giant, he was transforming them into a technology corporation driving at high speed into a hi-tech future. It should also be noted that Sulzer Escher-Wyss changed another focus of their business to help them “form the basis for medical technology products,” an area not previously mentioned as a target industry for Sulzer and/or Escher-Wyss.
On 1 January 1968, Sulzer Escher-Wyss AG was rolled out publicly. By 1969, the incorporation of Escher Wyss into Sulzer was fully completed and they would be rebranded into Sulzer AG, dropping the historic name Escher-Wyss from their name.
But back to the story of the International Man of Mystery. Schwab studied mechanical engineering and received a doctorate in economics from the University of Fribourg, and, at Harvard, he obtained a Master of Public Administration degree.
While at Harvard, he was taught by a bloke named Henry Kissinger.

This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government.”
– Henry Kissinger, speaking at Evian, France, May 21, 1992 Bilderburg meeting. Unbeknownst to Kissinger, his speech was taped by a Swiss delegate to the meeting.
But back to old mate Klaus.
In 1970, the young Schwab wrote to the European Commission and asked for help in setting up a “non-commercial think tank for European business leaders”. The European Commission would sponsor the event as well, sending French politician Raymond Barre to act as the forum’s “intellectual mentor”. So it was that, in 1970, Schwab left Escher Wyss to organise a two-week business managerial conference. In 1971, the first meeting of the World Economic Forum – then called the European Management Symposium – convened in Davos, Switzerland. Around 450 participants from 31 countries would take part in Schwab’s first European Management Symposium, mostly made up of managers from various European companies, politicians, and US academics. The project was recorded as organised by Klaus Schwab and his secretary Hilde Stoll who, later the same year, would become Klaus Schwab’s wife.
As writer Ganga Jey Aratnam stated in 2018:
It was also true that, as Aratnam also pointed out, this was not the first time Davos had hosted such events. Between 1928 and 1931, the Davos University Conferences took place at the Hotel Belvédère, events which were co-founded by Albert Einstein and were only halted by the Great Depression and the threat of looming war.

However, it is important to go back a little bit further in time to the 1968 Club of Rome, a think tank of the scientific and well off elite. In the 1972 book “The Limits to Growth” it was asserted that global overpopulation was a major issue and said
“if the world’s consumption patterns and population growth continued at the same high rates of the time, the earth would strike its limits within a century.”
At the third meeting of the World Economic Forum in 1973, Peccei delivered a speech summarizing the book, which the World Economic Forum website remembers as having been the distinguishing event of this historical meeting. That same year, the Club of Rome published a report detailing an “adaptive” model " for global governance that would divide the world into ten, inter-connected economic/political regions.
The Club of Rome was long controversial for its obsession with reducing the global population and many of its earlier policies, which critics described as influenced by eugenics and neo-Malthusian. ( population control). However, in the Club’s infamous 1991 Book, The First Global Revolution, it was argued that such policies could gain popular support if the masses were able to link them with an existential fight against a common enemy.
To that effect, The First Global Revolution contains a passage entitled “The common enemy of humanity is Man”, which states the following:

As stated previously, Schwab's forum got off to a fine start. The first year he managed to attract 400 attendees from all around the world. Not a bad achievement in anybody's book.
In 1987 the name was changed to something more embracing of the world at large and it became known as the World Economic Forum, a name it has retained to today's date.
It was only a few years later that Klaus embarked on the creation of another forum, focussing on the young and up and coming. It became known as the Young Global Leaders. Some of the attendees include Angela Merkel, Jacinda Ardern, Tony Blair, Viktor Orban, Emmanuel Macron, Gavin Newsom and Peter Buttigieg to name but a few. Others include Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, and Chelsea Clinton.
One of the forum's young attendees rose to become Prime Minister of New Zealand. After graduating from the University of Waikato in 2001, Ardern worked as a researcher in the office of Prime Minister Helen Clark. She later worked in London as an adviser in the Cabinet Office. Perhaps it comes down to that old saying " All roads lead to Rome ". For it would seem that the Club of Rome had a great impact on what is happening today.

So who is this International Man of Mystery? A good guy determined to make the world a better place? Or a meglomaniac hell bent on overthrowing individual countries, individual citizens and the entire concept of individuality... for the common good?
