Our lives, around the world, have become ruled by rich fellas who seek to turn our farmland and agriculture into dustbowls of soil poisoned by solar panels, wind turbines and overgrown national parks.
Our ability to feed ourselves is under threat. Water is being stolen by corporate enterprise and traded as a commodity that no longer belongs to the People.
So why are we not doing it? It is never too late.
Of course, coupled with this is the project known as The Iron Boomerang.
On the 6th of September 2022, the Senate has passed a One Nation motion establishing an inquiry into Project Iron Boomerang, an ambitious nation-building proposal to link Queensland’s coal and Western Australia’s iron ore fields by rail line.
Despite having the world’s third largest reserves of metallurgical coal and the largest reserves of iron ore, Australia only accounts for 1% of world steel production.
Project Iron Boomerang seeks to fix this, linking the two steel ingredients by cross-country rail line and building steel-making plants at both ends. Senator Roberts said:
“Project Iron Boomerang is a visionary, nation building project.”
“Australia ships billions of tonnes of commodities overseas to places like China who use it to make steel which Australia buys back from them. Combining our natural resources for value-add manufacturing to make steel here in Australia is a no-brainer.”
“The business case shows a potential benefit to the economy of hundreds of billions of dollars, including $200 billion in annual steel production.”
“Iron Boomerang will bring transport, employment, water, power and internet to disadvantaged remote communities across the top end.”
“This inquiry will enable us to test the promising business case and assess whether Infrastructure Australia should consider Iron Boomerang a High Priority Infrastructure project.”
“The Senate is to be congratulated for passing this One Nation motion so the investigation of this project can begin. The potential benefits cannot be ignored and must be assessed.” source
The Bradfield Scheme and the Iron Boomerang are the sorts of things we need now, not pushing water uphill to push it down again in order to satisfy the green climate change gods.
If we do not see some Nation Building here and in other countries around the world, we are going to die in the dust bowl of neglect. And our rulers will not lament the passing of We the People.
In fact, they will be celebrating our defeat.
Like America, we have the ability to be Nation Builders. We can produce steel. We can manufacture. We can prosper and offer our future generations lives worth living. As long as the politicians and bureaucrats get out of our way and stop interfering.
When Greta Thunberg made her speech, I wonder if she thought of the young women who lived through the Dustbowl.
Yes, how dare YOU.
I will leave it to Malcolm to speak John Steinbeck's final words.
" The people come with nets to fish for potatoes in the river, and the guards hold them back; they come in rattling cars to get the dumped oranges, but the kerosene is sprayed.
And they stand still and watch the potatoes float by, listen to the screaming pigs being killed in a ditch and covered with quicklime, watch the mountains of oranges slop down to a putrefying ooze; and in the eyes of the people there is a failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath.
In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage. "
This was the voice of a real victim of bad policy.
How dare you
I cannot help it. This is pretty special.
